Tak, tak, robi wrazenie ....nasz Thornton ma piekny glos... dlatego sie w nim zakochalysmy, bez kwestii.

transmission in November 2004, proving the story is still as relevant

"A beautiful conclusion to the series. It gave us the passion we expect from the two characters, but sill retained the chastity of the period. Richard Armitage has surely knocked Colin Firth from his throne as the epitome of a romantic hero. The rest of the cast were also excellent, in particluar Sinead Cusack as the formible Mrs Thornton, a lioness protecting her cub. The scenes between Brendan Coyle as Higgins and Richard Armitage as Thornton were brilliantly done showing how the two men go from dislike and suspicion to reach a respect and understanding, and even liking for each other.

The whole series has kept to the spirit of the book and even the changes fitted the story. Sandy Welch deserves praise for her adaptation, and much as I love the book, the ending was more beautiful than I had imagined."
"I watched with tears rolling down my cheeks at the closing scenes of the final episode of this drama. Not only because of the way Richard Armitage portrayed the pure love Mr Thornton had for Margaret, or because he looked so devastatingly sexy (dare I say more so than the 'Mr Darcy emerging from the pond scene' in Pride and Prejudice?), but because my Sunday nights will not be the same without my weekly fix of North and South."
